The fork is more of a spork, which assists with scooping. They're dirt cheap, which is a big positive when you need to buy double of everything.

These are labeled disposable but weve had them for months and they hold up just fine to being continuously washed in the dishwasher

The forks are also sporklike so he can use them much more easily than a regular fork
