Yes the book did not get into criticisms of various government projects that dont merit praise but providing factual information and highlighting the complexity of keeping this country safe is telling it like it is not a hit job

Most of us don’t know much about the various federal agencies the secretaries of which sit on the president’s cabinet

The book also points out who trump has appointed top fill important roles in these agencies and how unqualified they are

Spoiler alert many trump administration political appointees view their positions of authority over these organizations as an opportunity to eliminate opinions that conflict with the administrations andor enrich themselves at the publics expense

Michael lewis is always a joy to read but this is a sad book
