Pros

Great read from the master thriller writer. Easy to follow style of writing makes it accessible for most ages. The more i read the better the book got, the more i rooted for characters.

Stephen king's tone is remarkably evocative of an * storyteller. The prose style is in the vein of a traditional folk story, unlike king's usual prose style. The eyes of the dragon is a fantasy novel and written in a fairytale style.

The tone of the book is reminiscent of fairy tales of my youth. A perfectly self-indulgent enduring escape for all ages. It is a lot of fun, and not to be taken as seriously as the stand or duma's key.

But for me it's a failed attempt.
