Pros
The characters are great, and the fact that their backstories unfold over the course of a few chapters just keeps you wanting to finish one more chapter. Not steve berry or james rollins but pretty darn good. A little unbelievable at times.
Cons
The dialogue is wooden. The thematic content is as banal and hokey as the writing. We get rants against ai and regardless of gender or age dialogue is the same. Riddle's books just keep getting worse instead of better.

The guide is an android. But to charge $7. No applause. Don't waste your time. It become very boring and i resemted the wasted time.

The book that gets mentioned a lot is the birthright and after having just finished the solar wars trilogy i was so over the selfhelp book angle for me it was regurgitated and took away from the more creative storyline elements

My only issues were with some of the morals in the story that didnt make sense to me the pacing slow and sometimes repetitive and the way the world was written in the story i only have two brain cells left
