The enormous crocodile is a fine example of roald dahl's writing talent. Dahl's sense of humour is of times a bit dark, but make no mistake, the crocodile gets his just deserts even though there are thrills a-plenty on the way. A story from the incorr...  Read More

Watercolor drawings by quentin blake are whimsical, spare, and expressive. Excellent book with very colorful and good artwork. It is very hard finding books to capture the imagination of a gifted little boy.

Crocodiles that set out to eat children is nowhere near as frightening as say witches disguised as lovely women who make children turn into animals or stone or just make them disappear not to mention american witches who turn kids into hot dogs so their parents will eat them
