Pros
Easy recipies. Lots of great ideas for expanding on my usual repertoire. It isn't understated, but it also isn't overly drawn out.
Love the vegitarian meat loaf. Ability to plan and prep ahead makes eating this way much easier. Not hard to cook satisfying meals at home.
The book includes testimonials, recommended exercises, and recipes. On the whole its a very helpful introduction to plant-based diets and the science explaining the benefits.
Cons
Author is clearly just some shmoe who doesn't know much about his subject matter and trying to cash in on his firefighter cred. Writer comes off as conceded and arrogant. This guy has no clue what he is talking about.
The recipes are laughable. The other 99%$ of the book is the typical hype filler for the diet.

But so many of the recipes contained soy or soyderived products we have two in the family with an allergy to soy and many contain processed vegetarian meat ingredients which usually contain soy
