Not only is it sturdy. No issues with sturdiness, at all. Very sturdy construction, easy to assemble.

Cons
If your kids put any weight on the rim, the rivets pop out and it's worthless. The rivets the hold the rim to the backboard are not strong enough to hold laundry.

You can take the laundry net off and just use it as a little indoor hoop if you want

I didn’t think about the door having to open all the way with it on the back so we took the over the door hooks off and mounted it straight to the wall instead
