A great read perhaps because the message coincides so well with my own outlook on life life is random and ruled by uncertainties that are beyond our control although i continue to make plans because the only way to live is to pretend that you know what will happen tomorrow next week or a year from now despite the fact that you have no idea what will happen when you turn the next street corner

Everyone should at least read the last chapter of this book

Following the prologue an anecdote begins the first chapter and it provides a strong event to show the importance of chance one of the topics of the book

Particularly interesting is the second chapter of the book where the author briefly discusses probability laws and their misuse or abuse by individuals

He gives real world examples of these principles in action then explains the historical story of the mathematician andor philosopher that figured out that particular piece of the puzzle
