This is by far the worst dragon fantasy type books that i have read to date. Mccaffrey's characters are single-note personalities.
Lessa is in a bad spot. There is literally no place for her to go. This is outdated & sadly there is nothing to learn here. Be cautious when using amazon marketplace affiliates.

The prior release which shows the original cover art from the individual books did have quite a few rather glaring typos

Some quirks of the writing style were irritating for example the earlier books not indicating passage of time without paying attention to context clues
