Pros
Shure sm57 and nady dm-90 are two different types of mic. The nady unit has a more focused and tighter sound, while the shure is more of a cabinet or vocal mic.
It's pretty bulky and heavy but it has put up with the normal * of being used in small punk rock clubs. The lows really resonate. It captures my old 24 ludwig maple bass drum faithfully.

Amazingly enough for the price it has decent quality sound and range
Im definitely better off with the nady dm90 in that spot
If your looking for superior sound quality then your going to have to pay for it

So pleas know that low price dosent always mean low quality

I was using a sm57 on the kick for years and it did work but had a bit of a thwaping sound instead of a nice round thump
Its comparable to any kick mic in 200 dollar range
