A medical practitioner's compassion and understanding is critical in dealing with a dementia patient. Her approach benefits both the patient, family and caregiver in a way that relieves stress on all concerned.

This very short book offers little direction to caregivers. The same couple of ideas are retold with a few examples. The useful information could be contained in a few pages.

Used only as a data source to be put through further emotionally draining and embarrassing periodic testing for the benefit of further cure seeking research that hopefully a good thing for others down the road but not at all for the patient
