Pros

William bernstein's the delusion of crowds is both brilliant and fascinating. The financial-panic side focuses quite a bit on the 2000 dot. It is relevant because it underlies the us foreign policy towards israel. The founding of the state of israel i...  Read More

Cons

The book is not a history of financial manias and bubbles. Both the macro and micro organization often seems poor to me. If you want to learn about religious manias, there are many other books on this topic.

I would rather he cut down the islamic emphasis and move into more contemporary delusions like the big lie of the stolen 2020 election

Had he done so the book would be a 5 star piece

Unfortunately the author suffers from the same malady for which he liberally disdains others confirmation bias

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

He spends an inordinate amount of ink on how religions are all rubbish founded totally on delusion practiced by neanderthal morons but spends no time exploring how modern science that he so consistently champions is rife with all the same characteristic

Sorry but i just dont have that much faith
