The curse of chalion is a prequel to palladin souls. The plot involves romance, adventure, and the supernatural.

Would have given it a 4. Not disappointed. Warmly recommended.

Cons

Flat uninteresting, uneven, inconsistent and utterly without depth" "too much court intrigue.

It never gets much mounting tension about what will happen between the two until the end of the story when the become happy and wed.

I dont think this is my new favorite book of all time but i enjoyed the read and plan to continue with the series

You really feel as if you were right there along with the characters

This is my third try at reading this book with the first two attempts having failed due to lack of interest in the beginning

I was sad to finish the book and to not be able to end my day with a little time with the characters from the book each evening
