The final ending (in three parts) is a shocker! No words are wasted. All of the characters seem like real people with flaws and backgrounds that shape the story. The plot has many red herrings, but when finished, the plot is both logical and creative.... Read More

This author improves with each novel as i read in sequential order. Best to start the series with book 1 and go forward. I was hooked.

The only thing is it doesn't make for a riveting story. The reader is slow and makes the story drag on and drag. Also, he injects far too many personal moments into the cop's daily work that make no sense and add nothing to story.
