Pros & Cons
Pros
Clarke's is an amazing story of questioned authority and outright adventure. It is a story that expresses the hopes and fears of the human race as it prepares for the space age. A must-read for sci-fi fans.
The book stares right into the face of mind-breakingly vast concepts - what if humanity endured for a billion years more? The cosmos of mr. Spock is the deepest reflection of mankind and the introspection of ourselves that i have ever read.
Alvin is one of those dreamers. Alvin's quest is to find out what is beyond his society. Thank you alvin for the incredible journey/adventure.
Cons
I have listened to hundreds of narrated books, this book has a daunting cast of about a dozen narrators. The main narrator is horridly boring. It’s a mimi-adventure with very little adventure.
