If you wish to go into greater depth you may wish to read the books on the early fathers of the church or the catholic catechism itself which is a bit too difficult reading for any but theologians

Bible catechism canon law so there is no excuse for students who start their studies with these books not to look at the source and summation of our faith namely the bible and the tradition that follows the catechism and code of canon law
