Though told in third person, it switches perspectives between the characters, giving the reader brief insights into each of their psyches and feelings. This helps to give them added individuality in the eyes of the reader.
A little girl and her two dads taking a vacation at a secluded cabin by a lake. Their home is invaded by 4 true-believer invaders carrying strange clubs. Four strangers arrive carrying menacing weapons and needing their help to save the world.

Its a homeinvasion horrorsuspense story layered with freaky cultish end of days paranoia and i was just kind of afraid of it

The narrative periodically shifts from one pointofview to another which is not at all unusual in itself but in the final sequence of the storyafter the reader is already emotionally overwrought and hopes that they are well past the emotional climax of the story because you dont want anything even worse to happenthe pov becomes unlike anything that i have ever seen any writer even attempt before much less make work

Ignore this books 3star average on amazon and all the hordes of reviewers who marked it down to one or two stars because it does not have a predictable storyline or a satisfying ending
