The edges are super sturdy so that i can not only stack the trays on top of each other but i can also put a full container of ice on top as seen in the picture

The ice cubes remove well when water run over the bottom of the tray

The ice cubes pop out by turning the tray upsidedown and simply pushing on the silicone wells
