The broker is an absolutely riveting and fast paced thriller. Joel backman, a wheeler dealer, is suddenly given a presidential pardon and swept up by the cia. Suddenly enemies emerge and the broker has use his own wits to survive.

It's totally captivating and a total thrill to read. Wonderfully planned, crafted and detailed. It seems like the subject matter for this book was well researched.

John grisham can't be bothered to get the italian checked. He leaves out the first chapter of the book which describes the jam software, so a lot of the rest of the audiobook doesn't make sense without it.

This is the first john grisham novel that i've ever abandoned and given up as hopeless. The protagonist's interest in her is baffling and never convincingly explained.
