Alan watts explains the staying aspect of reality and the self. Also explains the role of the ego in our lives.
He isn't a zealot nor is he pushy or preachy. He deftly merges and plays with concepts from the two.
I urge everyone to read it, particularly in conjuction with krishnamurti and douglas harding. Read it and see. Eckhart tolle's 'the power of now' is one of those books which i will definitely read again.
