The book of thoth is perhaps crowley's greatest contribution to the literature of occultism. Many readings are neccessary, as well as looking through many other books of tarot and occultism to begin to unlock crowleys 'tombs.
The 22 trumps correspond with the 22 letters of the hebrew alphabet and the 22 paths on the tree of life. Each card has a personality associated with it. There are layers upon layers of meaning.
