Pros

The book has a fun and playful layout which my son loves. My 10 year old loves it. He is also a lover of math which makes this the perfect match for him.

The book presents really fun scenarios that require a mathematical solution. It's a fantastic way to teach new math concepts and sharpen concepts they already know. It also lists some of the mathematical practices (of common core) in the index.
