It is a long haul to get through any trilogy so if you are not that type of person fine get a one book 300 page action novel

The blurb that caught my attention and made me buy the book was that trees can kill you and that koli was going to be kicked out of his protective society to have to wander alone in the forest and try to survive

Yes that happens but just like the walking dead isn’t really about how the gang survive zombies but instead how they survive other people koli’s real hazards are the ronin from other communities
