This book should be required reading at every newpaper and tv news station in the country. This book is absolutely marvelous! Overall, a good buy. Very acceptable for all my needs.

Good book for sat prep and basic grammar use. The quizzes in the back are great for practicing what we've learned. I teach esl and this is the book i buy for my students.

A reasonably comprehensive guide with lots of little known grammar rules. Takes the usually convoluted rules of grammar and language mechanics and makes them easier to understand.

Her examples are simply not exemplary; they are not illustrative of ideal use. The fact that the writer is not aware of this is a dead giveaway of her lack of expertise.
