The smell reminds me exactly of tanning lotion i've used in the past. Not overpowering but very pleasant. The scent was slightly subdued during the shave but still very nice.
The tin the soap comes in seems to be sturdy enough to mix in. Even survived a drop from my bathroom sink onto the floor.
It leaves you feeling soft and cuddly but still manly. One thing that may not have been mentioned in other reviews is how clean the razors rinse out. My one wish is that they made a bigger size.
Cons
The product is too waxy to be a great shave cream. I prefer products such as proraso and various sandalwood scented soaps. The lather is poor as well.
The reviews raving about the scent. The scent is awful.

Too bad though the cool tin that it comes in is marred by a barcode sticker that doesn’t come off without leaving that sticky left over stickerstuff that is impossible to get off

The soap was very slick and did not seem to dry out at all

A tertiary effect is that my brush is shedding less probably because of the less work it has to do to work up the lather
