Enns is right on target with analyzing broad swaths of biblical interpretation which create problematic interpretations and astutely lays out a solution

I came to the bible tells me so with an interest in ancient cosmology and was initially put off by the overly chummy writing style until i realized this book follows his earlier excellent comments regarding the chicago statement on biblical inerrancy on line

The transmission of revelation is not what i by faith might like it to be
