Pros
Recipes are easy to follow and the addition of sauces, sides and desserts is wonderful. One of our favorite things is to use the seasoning/marinade mixtures for various other recipes. Missing our favorite smoked turkey recipe though.
This book is full of culinary diversity! This is a great book for anyone getting started with outdoor cooking.
Cons
There are no recipes for smoking meats, which is why this should be called a grilling book. Some of what he says goes against what is being done on the major bbq competitions and is being taught in te schools.
I find the download version hard to navigate. Didn't like the layout and flow.

It has good information on bbq such as grills wood vs gas temperatures but a lot of the recipes call for like lemon grass cardamom fish sauce stuff like that which is not really available in my rural area and i would have to travel at least 50 miles to buy

I watched his tv show on the green egg and bbq and i thought this was geared more to like burnt ends beef ribs pork rubs that sort of line

Some of the other reviews have criticized this book saying that you need to buy a bunch of ingredients that you dont have or wont be able to find and that it has a bunch of recipes theyre not interested in

If on the other hand you are an experienced cook with a variety of culinary experiences lt5 this book will not do much increase your inventory of culinary options
