The abyss surrounds us is a sci-fi/fantasy story about a queer protagonist that embraces her * orientation but doesn't allow it to define her.
Cons
The book culminates with her complete capitulation. I wish the author had given us a character who, by the end, deserved admiration and sympathy. This is just poorly written.

I was getting a little annoyed with the i hate you but love you drama though
But easily my favorite thing of all was the way the romance worked with the plot and the character development
I liked this one a lot but i have to admit i wasnt 100 satisfied with the end
Additionally i am not entirely satisfied with the wrapping up of the plot there are still a few remaining questions

There was a point in the story where they take a stop at a town and that would’ve been a great opportunity to learn more about the people the culture or a bit of backstory but it fell short
