I have more books now and experience and i still like looking through this book plus its easier to carry around in my purse especially when internet is too slow on my phone

The book does not show you how to set up and maintain a tank nor does it show you how to diagnose sick fish or care for live plants

It touches very briefly in these areas but you will need to look elsewhere for proper coverage

This may well be the reason it doesnt detail required water quality for most the species included have mostly modest demands in this regard and for those that require specific conditions that info is given

Unlike some books that try and tell everything with a few tiny symbols this gives a whole page to each fish with clearly worded descriptions of it size appearence minimum required tank size food type of habitat and behaviour
