Eve struggles to balance work and family as the thanksgiving holiday approaches. Roarke's family is in town for thanksgiving and they're always a hoot. We even had a medal ceremony that was both really funny and very touching.

Roarke is practically non-existent, and when he is in the book he's not his normal likable character. Eve is not particularly clever or tuned in to the *. Mavis has a health problem that affects her voice. Fenney or the commander retires.
