Pros

The instruction manual is well laid out, colorful and very descriptive. It has colorful pictures, diagrams, and instructions on every page.

The set up is fun and practical. The kit really is good with everything unbreakable. This isn't a huge deal, but you do have to be careful not to knock something over mid-experiment.

If you have an aspiring scientist or someone you want to expose to science this is by far one of the best if not the best kit on the market. Highly recommend for a child into making potions and chemical reactions. I need to find out if i can order ref... Read More

The color tabs are similar to what you get with an egg coloring kit or bath fizzles.

Cons

Price is steep for a bunch of plastic pieces. Measurements on large test tube are not right. Cheap and poorly written instructions. It's cheap and i don't think you even get what you paid for it.

Ive sent kits back to amazon for being cheap or overpriced and this one is a keeper

Also if you do the subscription these activities come at about half price of their normal cost

It is a good value for the money
