Pros & Cons
Pros
The plastic lid casing makes a huge difference in it surviving in her backpack.
Cons
Adding or subtracting a percentage is broken. The scientific notation button is under the 2nd menu which slows down entering numbers in scientific notation. The casio fx-300es plus 2 has a much better display and easier layout.
The base is slippery on smooth surfaces. It also has scratches and marks on it. Replaced the battery with no success.
This calculator feels cheaply made. Keys are very loose feeling and wiggle and the feedback from keys is very cheap feeling. Even the keys are not very tactile and half the time you need to check if you pressed it hard enough.
