The foot bed is a slightly soft suedelike material but with a minor cushioning underneath and not as prone to sweat absorption and collecting dirt as a birkenstock is

The leather stretches ever so slightly over time so they should feel slightly tight when you first get them and then they break in perfectly

I have relatively wide arches and i get a little rubbing there sometimes if im walking in hills and whatnot
