I was able to squeeze a 9x16 standard sleeping bag into it but it took some wrestling to get it in and was impossible to remove without unzipping the internal shelf to take it out through the top of the pack

Teton should also go back to a zipper for the rain cover instead of velcro

I used the backpack for a week trip to europe and everything worked well except the top drawstring fastener so that was a bummer
