The battery lasts a while and doesn't take long to charge. I have order a few rechargeable lighters to see what would work for me. It's chargeable with a android charger for me that's very convenient!
Cons
The lid gets in the way of lighting the wick of a candle deep inside a jar. Good for campfires, if your fuel source is paper. Short battery life discourages using this lighter.

It’s a great conversation starter but the gap between the poles is a little small and low tough to even light a cigarette with it which makes it go from awesome to being sort of a novelty
