In overall this terramaster usb enclosure is a fantastic box at good price abd i am very happy with it
There is obviously a trade off between reliability price speed and noise

So you have to wonder why use a usbc version when it would have been more reliable with a usb3 connector
Definitely recommend this disk enclosure even if it costs a little bit more over the competition

As this unite is ‘direct attached’ storage it appears on the computer as extra disk drives and is only directly accessible to the system that it is cabled to of course you can use the sharing facilities of that computer to access the storage from elsewhere but this between you and your computer

There is no specific software to accompany the drive it isn’t required
