Pros & Cons
Pros
Scott coleman keeps you on the edge of your seat from cover to cover. Some parts of the story are a stretch, the writing style is crisp and it’s a fun read. As fatcats in dc play, coleman makes sure they pay. A solid first outing.
Cons
The writing is technically good, but the ideas are ludicrous. I doubt any reputable publisher would have touched it. Secondly, it reads like it's written for a fourth grader.
Every single character is static, none of them evolve or grow out of their cardboard cutout personas. The premise is too far-fetched and the relatively slow-moving plot gives you too much time to think about the silliness of the whole idea.
It is almost insultingly *. Save your money. It’s total garbage. This just isn't in the same league. It's just boring.

I typically don’t read books that are this long but this book was very fast paced and the characters were well developed
I liked the fast pace just when think the story is going in one direction it turns in an unpredictable turn

This was actually flynns first novel and is not a part of the mitch rapp series which flynn would start after this novel

In those politics were always in the background of the main story but in this one politics are front and center

It definitely seemed like flynn was still trying to discover a writing style and was not as polished as his subsequent novels were

I do not think it is as good as flynns subsequent books and i would not say that it is a mustread even for fans of the mitch rapp series
