Pros
This is the best i have seen for a recess so purchased another for conservatory. They are so easy to install & so sturdy.
I have no qualms at all regarding this tension rod falling down. Bought this for three metre expanse of patio doors just in advance of the recent 40° weather. Large store dun.
Comes with everything you need, including extra pieces (see pics). Comes in 3 peices easy to assemble. All items labelled and very easy to assembled.
Cons
Total disappointment. Look awful or obstruct opening the curtains. It is quite large in diameter, which makes the entire thing look bulky.

The pole was great when i first put it up however over a period of time it started to sag in the middle

We couldnt use anything else as theres wiring behind the wall and we couldnt drill
