The lid fits very tightly too so curious pets would have a hard time getting into it and it wont easily pop open if it is accidentally dropped or knocked over

All you have to do is push down on the disc to drain liquid and dump it out

My only issue is that i don’t need the water drainer which uses up some of the space and when you take it out the top won’t sit snuggly on the top

Unfortunately i dont think the compostable bags are well designed not this product but in many ways associated it seems like its air tight but all the fruit flies hanging out on the lid would imply otherwise

It was so bad that i still smelled it in another room for about 20 min afterwards
