In the end i found out that theres not much that can stop that and had to result to bath towels instead but they did act as a good barrier from the towel to the couch

They are very soft and will need to be disposed of even if dry after one use as they will crumple easily

Bought as baby changing mats worked great if baby used one you just throw it away with nothing else to clean up
