The mattress construction is such that movement on one side is barely felt on the other side

The first one we got was a hunk of foam that needed to be aired for days before you could sleep on it and we loved the comfort and support it provided for many years but it was not optimal towards the 8th year

I did some research with the tempur pedic customer service and learned that this mattress in queen size weighs about 90 lbs and will begin to harden temporarily until it warms back up at around 50f
