It helped me while i was reversing with a car full to the brim during moving purchased already the second dashcam unfortunately because this one was sold out had to look for substitute for my sons car

Ran power cable down to under the glove box pushing cable under rubber seals or headlining to hide it then plugged it into cig lighter and lost rest under glove box with gaffer tape

Plugged in turned on adjusted mirror and cameras and hey presto
