Pros

If you're a beginner and are looking for a good telescope this one is for you! If this is your first telescope and you're not sure where to start i recommend allan hall and learntostargaze on youtube. This telescope is pretty amazing!

I am so thrilled i cant tell you how much joy this brings me. I honestly didn't know which to buy there are so many options. It's easy to use and works great. The nt is awesome.

Eq-130's design is not only sleek but also sturdy. The adjustable tripod is very sturdy and is great for both short kids and tall adults.

High def camera with high magnification. Shows the moon, saturn and jupiter in high def. Can also show the rings of saturn and the moons of jupiter.

Easy to set up thanks to user-friendly instructions. Easy enough to figure out if you're technically minded at all. Though the setup instructions are limited, considerable help is available online.

Cons

Slow motion cables are inflexible and the screws that hold them to the mounts axes are of poor quality. Using dials were flimsy and kept coming unscrewed. Institutions are meager and still cannot find the “ solt’ for the dovetail mount.

Too much for a somewhat beginner. Overpriced piece of. Couldn't understand the asian translated instructions.
