    I then added a 6foot long iron pipe for more leverage and had my wife and son hold the water heater in place so it wouldnt rotate as i pushed on the the end of the pipe

    I dont know if the manufacturer used some kind of threadlock compound on the anode but even with the both of them holding it the water heater still managed to move as i applied pressure
