    I know kevin eastman created them as a parody of other comic book characters primarily daredevil and when i saw his name attached to this book i though we were going to get a modern retelling of that same parody

    Im thankful to say that while this was a modern retelling of the turtles origins it doesnt devolve into parody much at all in fact this story takes itself rather seriously
