The hifiman sundara headphone is one of the best you can buy for under $500. The cable that is included is a brown color matching the color of the headphone. There are some minor modifications you can make to this headphone.

Ill not be parting with my grados but the tecsun sound quality is right up there with them for all but picky close listening and bearing in mind that the source recording quality is often not ideal so its failings show up before headphone shortcomings not to mention ambient sound distractions

Now first off the build is not great

There is a few spots on the wood cups that are not completely sanded and a little rough and the headphone adjustment is questionable if it will last
