Quality
So far i am very pleased with the radio
Audio quality is good for a small box but headphonesexternal speaker do improve it
Sound quality isnt hfi but acceptable and more room filling than the little sony
It is not for mwlw dxing and the sound quality is fairly average
Price
The bonus of course is the price not forgetting the air band
Packaging/appearance
I have found the tecsun pl660 to be an excellent all round radio
You have to wait until dark when the d layer disappears from the ionosphere
Competitiveness
The tecsun sports three separate very comfortable controls

Excellent radio although the supplied rechargeable batteries do not last long after charging i replaced them with 2500mah batteries
I actually purchased my tecsun pl660 secondhand elsewhere but as there were no reviews i thought i would share my experience

I contacted the supplier via amazon who were very quick to respond and requested that i return the faulty radio and they would refund the postage which totalled £22

I know that this has been an ordeal but i am unable to fault the immediate response the company in china made to me and there total loyalty to there customer
