Very happy with the purchase and love the radio
It is probably true that their build quality is not on a par with sonys old line of icfsw7600ggr rf2200 etc
Despite the new tecsun and sangean models released in early 2021 they cant match the quality and performance of this pl660

Ive been a ham for almost 50 years and for the money this radio cost was well worth it thank you amazon for selling a great product
Is everything i wanted for a decent price
But at this price thats too much to expect

Be patient takes a little while to figure out all the buttons
You have to use the 110v cord to power this radio

Really if it had a squelch control this radio would be a 5star overall im glad i bought this one

Not sure what is a better radio for the price but try to find one and believe the reviews when there is red flags about the item
