Volume has 5 adjustment levels which are 50-120 decibels. Loud enough ring. Crisp and loud ring. My dogs don't freak out at the sound of this bell.

It has three modes we can select one of these according to our comfort. It also has 60 melodies. Large selection of melodies. I think because it is a little more digital, like a ringtone.

Did not expect much for $14 but expected to work a year at least. Also, cheap pitchy sounds, but it was loud so we could hear it.
