Usb to utp adaptor allows for high speed, reliable connection. Highly intuitive and easy to install, true plug and play.
Device is compact and light, yet it feels solid. Arrived much quicker than expected - really was plug in & go. Decent adapter, does what it needs to.
Usb 3 to rj45 network adaptor allows a hard-wired connection from a laptop. Quick way to add an ethernet port or replace a faulty port on a motherboard.
Love it. Worked quite well. No complaints. Great price too. Highly recommended. Complaint; highly recommended.
Cons
At least amazon’s returns process is reassuringly straightforward.

Once plugged into to my windows 10 laptop updated to latest patches etc the network device was detected as usb storage and not a network device

I read the advice on amazon from other customers and was able to get the device recognised correctly but it was a bit of a struggle

Wanted this gadget to connect a windows 10 ultrabook which is too thin to have an ethernet port via ethernet cable which is more stable than wifi

Not sure why probably for older versions of windows the ethernetviausb device when plugged into usb port appears also as a cdrom drive which contains drivers
